1 week Old Dutch Capuchine peep has officially been banded NPA 17 8 BM 3710.
I have a peep question! At what age do peeps stop looking like aliens, and start looking like birds?
That happens pretty quickly for Ringneck Doves.
Here is Archimedes and Celeste’s 9th clutch peep on hatch day.
1 week old
2 weeks old: Starting to explore outside the nest, starting to self-feed, and can fly a little.
3 weeks old
4 weeks old. Weaned and fully self feeding.
5 weeks old.
6 weeks old: Adoption age.
Pigeons are a little slower at first.
First hatch of Glasgow and Rosequartz’s 8th clutch, on hatch day.

2 weeks old
3 weeks old
4 weeks old: Exploring outside the nest, fully self feeding, and can;t quite fly.
6 weeks old: fully flight capable and ready to go home.
