aries: if passion is gasoline i poured and poured and poured & it took one careless match to burn it all away. i was alive and now i have, am, nothing & i am alone in coming to terms with that.
taurus: all that i ever wanted was security & nothing i did was enough to make me feel stable. i let my house turn to ruin trying to keep it from changing, but it continued to decay & rot & my control vanished.
gemini: it might have been my fault for seeing everything as a competition & it was definitely my fault that i tried so hard to win. my cutthroat manner left the breeze trembling & instead of burning all my bridges shattered.
cancer: stay, i told them. each & every one of them i told and my expectations turned to grief turned to despair until my loss was a tidal wave that consumed me. my heart shuddered & cried & suffocated.
leo: you tell me what i need is attention. you do not know how i can crave and loathe something at once. it is like a volcano, rock & lava, both melting and boiling and destructive. you do not understand that the eruption hurts only me.
virgo: maybe if i had bent to your will you would have stayed, but you have not seen iron like me. your skin is made of porcelain, & i am sorry that my harsh words break you. but better your skin to be broken than your heart.
libra: the disenchantment of my good nature is a fortress nobody can penetrate. i please the masses & watch them knock, once, twice, three times and leave me alone. i painted such a pretty face on the walls, & people only ever want my smiles.
scorpio: snake, they call me. scorpion. as though my purpose is so sting, to bite, to poison. they do not realize i do not attack unprovoked. that my distance & my isolation is not to hurt them, but to protect me.
sagittarius: if there was somebody who could keep up with me, for once i might stay. but they never can, and never do, and i can’t be blamed for leaving. campfires don’t burn for long, no matter how fond of them you are. you move on & start another burning elsewhere.
capricorn: mountains cannot be moved and the same can be said for me. i am a constant, reliable, certain in my solitude. someone asks me why i am so serious & i answer because somebody has to be.
aquarius: all i want is understanding, but i know better than to expect something so rare. i’ve been told nobod will understand if i don’t try to express myself honestly, but i’m too scared to face my real feelings.
pisces: dreaming is inescapable & it makes you too happy. it is a fishbowl, you see out and people are distorted to your perspective & you think that is normal. you get surprised when someone yanks you out of the water & they are not who they thought you were. wake up.
I think the Leo/Aquarius opposition has always been the most interesting for me. Because both of these signs encourage the universe to be themselves and conquer their battles, in their own unique ways. Whilst Aquarius is chasing and projecting ideas and supporting causes and moving society along group by group, the extraterrestrial being watching over and protecting its beloved humanity… Leo is the warm smile, handshake, strong hug and human contact, the “I did it, and so can you”. And that can’t be underestimated.
aries: can actually be super fearful. mask emotions by being rash and reckless because they fear, more than anything, messing something they care about up. they feel that their emotions get in the way of making good decisions.
taurus: not lazy; picky where they spend their energy. taurus’ can be very passionate, being ruled by venus, and when it’s something they care about taurus will go to the ends of the earth to achieve what they want.
gemini: feels extremely deeply. always trying to dissect why they feel the way they do instead of embracing it. mask pain with wittiness and sarcasm. never honest with themselves though they can be so brutally blunt with others.
cancer: probably has anger issues or anxiety. because cancer’s feel so deeply, they look for an outlet to release these emotions. anger is the one i’ve seen the most – cancer’s are volatile and find a way to hurt the person they take their anger out on – they go for the kill shot.
leo: way more insecure than they front. many leo’s are physically confident, as we all know, but, like gemini’s, leo’s couldn’t be more emotionally insecure. they love the idea of love, but they’re terrified of emotional intimacy.
virgo: their controlling organization comes from a lack of control over their heart. virgo’s – as all air signs do – can have flitting attraction. their interest is temporary, as they enjoy a mystery, but only for so long. it’s a very fine line to keep the affections of a virgo, as they’re extremely picky with who they settle.
libra: can be completely cold-hearted. scorpio’s and cancer’s get angry, but usually out of emotion, and it’s evident that no matter what they say they still care. libra’s however, have a switch that completely detaches them from all feelings when they’re pissed. will make you question if they ever even cared.
scorpio: common perception of scorpio’s is that they’re kinky and sexual bastards, when really they are one of the few signs who views sex as an act of love rather than of physical feelings. scorpio’s only have sex with people they love – it’s more their heart than body.
sagittarius: that wanderlust spirit is rooted deeply in fear. sagittarius fear attachment to one place or person for too long; it’s why they tend to travel. either physically or emotionally, locking down a sagittarius is very difficult, but not because they just want to see the world, but because they are very distrustful in nature.
capricorn: like gemini, capricorn are very emotional. however, capricorn tend to ignore feelings instead of trying to understand them. known as driven, they tend to focus all their energy on a single thing, and think that emotion is a distraction from their goals.
aquarius: super loyal. even though aquarius are very opportunistic and tend to take the route they think is the best for themselves, they also have a very compassionate side to those they sympathize with. aquarius’ hearts are difficult to capture, but once you do they’re also difficult to lose.
pisces: much more manipulative than perceived. pisces may feel deeply – as a water sign – but they use this to their advantage. pisces have a wicked accurate gut feeling due to how deeply in tune their are with their own emotions. if a pisces thinks that you can benefit them, they will use you.
in aquarius there is a satisfied solitary who has experienced and retired from the game and desires the simple life of being left alone to think and live freely
and a wild child who is determined to disrupt the world, and have its voice and message heard as loudly and influentially by as many people as possible
