I am still looking for housing. I am disabled living on SSI and can afford no more than 500 a month for rent, living in San Diego where that won’t even get you a room at a seedy motel. There is a housing crisis in this town and I am currently in a sober living that is unsafe due to violence and theft of my wallet and all of my vital identification etc. I get paid next week and am staying in my cubicle here, guarding the rest of my stuff, hoping a miracle happens. If you are in SD or know people here who might have a room they could rent for this amount, PLEASE CONTACT ME NOW! I have PTSD bipolar disorder, fibromyalgia, degenerate disc and other back injuries and need safe and affordable housing DESPERATELY. I have been dealing with temporary and unsafe situations for a couple of years now. I am a recovered alcoholic who got sober in 2014 and plan on staying sober but don’t know if I’ll do that if I end up on the streets. So far I’ve avoided having to sleep on the streets but I’ve been in transitional housing, rehab, ILF and sober living in the past four years with periods spent in hospitals and crisis houses to avoid the streets between. I am not asking for money right now because I do not have anywhere to move into! However, if you do have disposable income and would like to help please message me and I can give you my PayPal and or bank info. I may have to try to fundraise through this blog as much as I hate to do it, but right now, I have the weekend to try to avoid the hospital system and possible homeless shelter and find something I could move into by the 3rd of August.
