Not to detract from the funny video, but it really annoys me that this tune has apparently become widely known as the Spider-Man Pizza Theme. It’s “Funiculi, Funiculá,” a classic Neopolitan song written to commemorate the construction of a funicular cable car on Mt. Vesuvius in 1880. For some reason it’s become the Stereotypical Italian Music of choice, despite being a regional song that’s barely intelligible to speakers of Standard Italian.
