Glowrious George is a culmination of 528 plus hours of tattooing. George is proof that one’s body can be transformed not only once with a three-quarter suit of normal pigments, but twice by tattooing the remaining skin with UV pigments, and then going over the original suit with UV pigments. From youth to middle age he dreamt for a Tattooed body suit. One chance time, he acted on a lifetime desire and his dad’s words and discovered an artist who struck a cord and invested what was necessary to bring the dream to reality.
Pigments are sensitive to specific wavelengths, thus we see yellow, brown, green, and all the other colors. The wavelength of UV is just below “normal light”, and pigments that aren’t sensitive to UV will be visible but nondescript under a UV light. Pigments that are sensitive to UV will appear to radiate, as the background is so dark; hence the term “blacklight”.
Glowrious George uses UV ink to bring to life a visual symphony instead of just a song. He is tattooed in bright UV pastels which casts vivid elements in normal light, and is simply brilliant under UV light. He believes in his Studio and artists, and especially wishes to catch the attention of others while opening the eyes of the public to what is possible when client and artist explore what is thought to not be possible.
