I am you. You are me. To the trans youth. Please see me as your future. Please know that you can become that person you dream of. Please know that the frustration to get there faster is part of the journey. I wish I knew this when I was you. Slow down. It is ok to embrace your past while you move towards your future. All the pain you feel is growing pains. Remember that everything you are going through now will never happen again. Use this time, even if painful, to become a great person. Do not be angry but rather explore this journey. You get to now be who you want. It takes time to sculpt perfection. You are art. Create your reality. I did. It was difficult. But I learned so much about myself and the world. Sharing my journey and encouraging you to share yours will help us all see past the pain to the present. I care about you.
